Hardware Hank is now open!!

Snortums is now open!
The Lakeside Park project has been awarded the
$129,000 matching grant. Park plans are being reviewed and
Council will be reviewing budget options for the matching funds.
The City has been awarded a $192,000 Commercial Rehab
grant through the Small Cities Development Program. The next
step is to establish the program application and qualification guidelines.
The Economic Development Authority has been awarded a
$10,000 grant from the Minnesota Housing Partnership Community Building
Grant Program which will assist in the Housing Study costs.
The Ortonville Planning Commission is working
with the Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission (UMVRDC)
updating the Ortonville Comprehensive Plan.
The City of Ortonville has been awarded $100,000
grant for the Minnesota Cities Participation Program to be processed
through our local lending agencies

Public Notice
The Ortonville City Office will be moving from 315 Madison Avenue to 217
½ Third Street NW on Friday, October 5, 2007. This is in the upper
level of the Sealey Real Estate Building. There will be no telephone
service or Internet service at the City Office on that day. The Office
will re-open at 8:00 AM on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the new location.
The telephone number and the mailing address for the city will remain
the same. The utility drop box will remain in the same location.

move.
