CALL TO
ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Mayor Blair
Johnson called the Special Meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order
at 7:00 P.M. Roll Call was taken with the following Present: Mayor
Johnson, Nick Anderson, Craig Randleman, Steve Berkner, Bob Meyer, John
Cunningham, and Mike Dorry. Staff Present: City Administrator David Lang.
Media Present: Mike Swenson (Ortonville Independent). Others
Present: Golf Board Members Norm Davis, Mark Hughes, Randy Stock, Ev
Johnson, and Deb Barnhardt, and applicants Darwin Asmus and Nancy Skalbeck.
SELECTION OF GOLF CLUBHOUSE MANAGER/OPERATOR
Mayor Blair
Johnson noted Darwin Asmus is the clubhouse operator recommended by the
Golf Board. He then proceeded to review the three primary modifications to
the clubhouse lease per the Golf Board recommendations. Discussion and
questions followed.
Motion
by Cunningham, second by Meyer to accept the
Golf Board recommendation and to offer the clubhouse manager position to
Darwin Asmus.

Call: Aye: Randleman, Dorry, Berkner, Cunningham, Johnson, Meyer.
Nay:
Anderson. 6-1. MC (Motion Carried).
GOLF
CLUBHOUSE LEASE
Motion
by Cunningham, second by Berkner to approve
the new contract with modifications recommended by the Golf Board.

Favor. 7-0. MCU. (Motion Carried Unanimously)
PROPOSAL
FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR MAINTENANCE BUILDING ADDITION
Motion
by Dorry, second by Anderson to refer the
Ulteig Engineers Proposal for Engineering Services for the Maintenance
Building back to the Street Committee.

Favor. 7-0. MCU. (Motion Carried Unanimously)
