Patrons are responsible for
keeping track of library materials and due dates.
Patrons are responsible for fines
incurred for items lost, damaged or returned late. Borrowing
privileges will be suspended when unpaid charges exceed $8.00.
Charges continue to accrue even if library is closed.
Returning overdue library
materials does not erase late charges.

What is the Friends of the
Ortonville Public Library?
The Friends of the Ortonville
Public Library is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting the services
and needs of the library.
What does the group do?
In the last year or so, the
Friends group has:
Purchased 2 tables and 20 child-sized chairs for the
storytime program.
Reframed and displayed the Roland Reed photographs at
the library.
Sponsored the used book sale at the Big Stone County
Fair. The proceeds were used to buy large print books for the
library.
Started a program to give a board book to each baby
born a the Ortonville Hospital.
Organized a float for the CornFest parade.
If I want to be a member, what
do I have to do?
The annual dues are $10.00.
Other than that, you may be asked to main the booth at the fair for a
couple hours or help blow up balloons. We'd love to have you join!
Donations are tax-deductible.
