The Belltone Representative can assist with hearing assessments and all hearing aid needs.  His available at the Center on the Second Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Home Health Nurse from the Ortonville Hospital will check blood pressure and pulse free of charge on the first Monday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Educational Seminars are held about once a month, usually on health-related topics.  Professionals are invited to speak and free hand-outs are available.  Call to get information on the next seminar topic and date.

The Senior Club meets every third Wednesday at 1:15 p.m.  Membership is $1 per year and is open to all area Seniors.  In addition, the Club hosts a potluck each second Sunday, starting with cards at 2:30 and supper at 5 p.m.  You do not need to be a Senior Club member to enjoy the potluck.  (back to page index)

Monday Cards of any kind starting at 1 p.m.
Tuesday Progressive Whist on the first and third Tuesdays at 1:15 p.m.
Wednesday Cards of any kind starting at 1 p.m.
Thursday Pinochle at 1 p.m.
Friday Bridge at 1 p.m.

Bingo is played on the 2nd, 4th (and 5th) Tuesdays of each month starting at 1:30 with the proceeds from each game awarded to the winners.  (back to page index)

The Quilters' Group meets every Monday morning at 9 a.m. to work on projects and share information and expertise.  They welcome all who enjoy quilting to join them!

A group of woodcarvers meet every Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.  This enthusiastic bunch are always happy to share their knowledge and craft with newcomers!  (back to page index)

Senior Dining:  The Prairie 5 Senior Dining Program provides a hot, nutritious and delicious meal for 30 to 60 Seniors each day at 12 noon.  This meal is offered to those 60 and over for a suggested donation of $2.50 and enables diners to enjoy a great meal in the company of others, saves time and money in the kitchen and can be adjusted to serve those with special dietary needs, such as Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol and Diabetic.  To reserve a meal, please call the Center by 4:30 p.m. on the day before you wish to eat.  Each meal includes an entree, potato, vegetable, dessert, milk and coffee.  (back to page index)
