A few of the Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) members
traveled to Northfield gathering information for the Ortonville
Heritage Preservation Guidelines which they are currently working
on. This 6 minute video is of photos taken during that trip.
This video will also provide a
visual of what the HPC's goals are for the preservation of Ortonville
through the Heritage Preservation Guidelines.
Currently, Ortonville's Second
Street from the Courthouse to the Library is designated as a Historic
District and the two buildings in this District that are designated on the
Historic Register are the Courthouse and the Columbian Hotel.
