Oakes moved and Dinnel seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

WHEREAS, the Electrical Department of the City of Ortonville ("City") had previously solicited quotes for the construction of concrete light pole bases for the Hwy 7 project ("Project"), and

WHEREAS, Project quotes have now been received and reviewed by the Council and they were: Hasslen Construction – no quote; Lundberg Construction – no quote; Vollmer Construction – no quote; Hanson Construction - $10,350.00, and

WHEREAS, the quote of Dallas I. Hanson Construction, Inc., Ortonville, MN ("Hanson") in the amount of $10,350.00 has been determined by the Council to be the lowest responsible quote for the Project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that:

1. The quote of Hanson is hereby accepted.

2. That City Attorney shall prepare necessary agreement for Project.

 

1. That the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be and are hereby authorized to execute agreement with Hanson.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Dinnel, Gustafson, Reinke, and the following voted nay: none.

Resolution 00-171 passed this 6^th day of November 2000.
