Ellingson moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

WHEREAS, the City of Ortonville ("City") deems it necessary to the development of the Big Stone Lake area to upgrade the sanitary facilities at Riverside Park ("Riverside"); and

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources ("DNR") has grant programs from time to time to assist in the development of parks and facilities; and

WHEREAS, the City desires professional assistance in writing and obtaining grant monies from DNR;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota that the Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission is hereby requested to assist the City in applying and obtaining grant monies for the purpose of improving sanitary facilities at Riverside Park and further that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized to sign necessary documents for said grant.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Dorry, Ellingson, Dinnel, Reinke, Oakes, and the following voted nay: none.
