MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2001 12:00 PM

SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Upon due and proper notice Mayor Pro Tem David Dinnel called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 12:01 p.m. Roll call was taken
and the following were present: Dave Dinnel, Mel Reinke, Mary Gustafson, Dan Oakes, and the following were absent: Mike Dorry, Lisa Berkner. City staff
present: Roman Taffe, Tom Dew, Roger Anderson. Media present: none. Dinnel stated the purpose of the meeting was to canvass the municipal general
election results.

NEW BUSINESS:

The election summary statement was reviewed. Gustafson moved, Reinke seconded that a resolution be adopted Certifying General Election (RES 01-136).
With Oakes, Dinnel, Reinke, Gustafson voting in favor, the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Oakes moved that the November 9, 2001 special meeting of the Ortonville City Council be
adjourned and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the meeting at 12:03 p.m.
