Upon due public notice, the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council was called to order at 5:02 p.m. Roll call was taken and the following were present: Lisa Berkner, Dave Dinnel, Mel Reinke, Mary Gustafson, Dan Oakes (5:10), and the following were absent: Mike Dorry, David Ellingson. City Staff Present: Roman Taffe

Media Present: None. Others Present: Joan Julius, Angie Kriesel, Tom Scoblic, Neva Foster, Deb Ellingson

Berkner moved and Reinke seconded and the motion passed unanimously electing Mary Gustafson as Council President Pro Tem.

Gustafson explained the reason for the special meeting was to discuss the matter of paying ambulance personnel for their recertification training hours. Dinnel moved and Reinke seconded that a resolution be adopted Approving Ambulance Training Payment (RES 01-053). With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.

Oakes moved and Dinnel seconded that a resolution be adopted Approving EMT Certification Payment (RES 01-054). With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.

There being no further business to come before the Council, Dinnel moved that the April 27^th special meeting of the Ortonville City Council be adjourned. With no objections thereto, Gustafson declared the meeting adjourned at 5:28 p.m.
