TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Mayor Dinnel called the reconvened
August 18, 2003 regular meeting of the Ortonville City Council back into
session at 5:00 P.M. Roll
call was taken with the following being present:
Lenore Sellin, Mike Dorry, Dan Oakes, Mel Reinke with the
following absent: Artie
Arndt, Lisa Berkner. City
Staff Present: Char Grossman. Others
Present: Steve Barr, Roy
Bailey, Ethel Swenson, Garry Swenson, James Johnson, Sharron Johnson,
Shirley Botker, Don Botker, Bob Schreiner, Joan Hasslen, Vicki Oakes,
Jeff O’Conner.
PUBLIC
HEARING:
At 5:01 P.M. Mayor Dinnel continued
the public hearing to consider the vacation of Lundell Avenue lying
South of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, Block 2 and buts the North
boundary lines of Lots 13, 14, 15, and 16, Block 3 in Lundell-Stegner
Addition, City of Ortonville. Jeff
O’Conner, project manager for the assisted living project, answered
questions as to the garage location.
After further discussion, it was determine that residents of the
area would like the garage moved to the south side of the building.
O’Conner stated that due to the delays in the projects the
location of the garages would be relocated. After all who wished to be
heard had spoken, Dinnel declared the public hearing closed at 5:33
P.M..
Arndt offered the first reading of
an ordinance vacating the portion of
Lundell Avenue lying South of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17,
Block 2 and buts the North boundary lines of Lots 13, 14, 15, and 16,
Block 3 in Lundell-Stegner Addition, City of Ortonville.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to
come before the Council, Dorry moved the adjournment of the meeting
and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the August 18, 2003
regular meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 5:34.
