MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 2004 12:OO NOON

COUNCIL CHAMBERS 

 

The Ortonville City Council met in special session with Mayor Dave Dinnel presiding. 

Council Members present: Mel Reinke, Mike Dorry, Artie Arndt, Lenore Sellin and Dan Oakes. 

Council Members absent: Lisa Berkner. 
Also present were: City Attorney- Dave McLaughlin, Judy Roberts. 

Others present: Sonny Arndt, Neil Speckeen, Elsie Perrine and Tom Dorry. 

The purpose of the special meeting was to determine whether an investigator should be hired to look into the complaint from Ron Frauenshuh on behalf of his clients. 

A motion was offered by Arndt and seconded by Sellin to proceed with the hiring of an investigator. Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Arndt, Sellin. The following voted nay: Reinke, Dorry, Oakes and Dinnel. The motion failed. 

There being no further business to come before the Council, Arndt moved the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the March 5, 2004 noon meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 12:10 P.M.
