MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL
COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA
FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2004 12:00 NOON
CITY OFFICE
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Upon due notice, Mayor Dinnel called
the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 12:00 Noon.
Roll call was taken and the following were present: Lisa Berkner, Lenore
Sellin, Mel Reinke, Dan Oakes, and the following were absent: Mike Dorry,
Artie Arndt. City Staff Present: Char Grossman, Dave McLaughlin. Media
present: Ryan Stattelman.
NEW BUSINESS:
Four additional lots are required to
complete the Fairway View Senior Community project. The EDA is in the
process of the purchase from the Lundells. A
motion was made by Berkner and seconded by Dinnel and the motion passed
unanimously that the sale of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 4, Lundell-
Stegner Addition to the EDA would not cause the assessments on the
remainder of the lots pursuant to the resolutions dated August 27, 1980,
to become due and payable. All other conditions of the prior resolution
remain in full force and effect without waiver of the term for future
events.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to
come before the Council, Oakes moved the
adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel
adjourned the May 7, 2004 special meeting of the Ortonville City Council
at 12:18 P.M.
