MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL
COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2004 11:00 A.M.
CITY OFFICE
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Upon due public notice, Mayor Dinnel
called the emergency special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to
order at 11:00 A.M. Roll call was taken with the following being present:
Lenore Sellin, Mike Dorry, Artie Arndt, Lisa Berkner with the following
absent: Dan Oakes, Mel Reinke. City staff present: Char Grossman.
Others present: David McLaughlin, Kim McCrea. Media present: None.
At 11:05 A.M. City Attorney closed the
public meeting and entered into executive session according to Minnesota
Stature 13D.01 for the purpose of consideration of a personnel issue.
The executive session was closed at
11:22
The City Attorney presented three
options relating to the David Meyer issue:
1.
Need more information
2.
Send termination letter
3.
Do nothing
Berkner moved and Sellin seconded
and the motion passed to approve Option 2 – Send termination letter.
Motion Passed 4-0, abstained – Dorry.
ADJOURNMENT:
Berkner moved and Arndt seconded
and the motion passed unanimously for the adjournment of the meeting and
with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the December 23, 2004 meeting
of the Ortonville City Council at 11:28 A.M.
