MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

FRIDAY, APRIL 15, 2005 4:00 P.M.

CITY OFFICE

 

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Mayor Dinnel called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 4:00 P.M.  Roll call was taken with the following being present: Artie Arndt, Lenore Sellin, Mel Reinke, Dan Oakes, Mike Dorry with the following absent:  Lisa Berkner.  City Staff Present: Char Grossman.  Others present:  Dave McLaughlin, Ken Archer, Kim McCrea.   Media present:  Holly Hilbrands, Sue Kaercher-Blake.

 

At 4:03 P.M. City Attorney closed the public meeting and entered into executive session according to Minnesota Stature 13D.01 for the purpose of consideration of a personnel issue.

 

The executive session was closed at 4:18 P.M. with no action was taken.

 

Reinke moved and Arndt seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

 

RESOLUTION 05-042

REINSTATE DAVID MEYER - OAHS

 

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota that David Meyer be reinstated if satisfies OAHS requirements.

 

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye:  Reinke, Sellin, Arndt, Dinnel, Dorry, Oakes and the following voted nay: none.

 

Resolution 05-042 passed this 15th day of April 2005.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Reinke moved and Dorry seconded and the motion passed unanimously for the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the April 15, 2005 meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 4:20 P.M.
