CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Mayor Dinnel called the reconvened May 19, 2005 Emergency meeting of the Ortonville City Council back into session at 8:30 A.M.  Roll call was taken with the following being present:  Mel Reinke, Mike Dorry and Lenore Sellin.

Members absent:  Dan Oakes, Artie Arndt and Lisa Berkner.

City Staff present:  Judy Roberts

Others present:  Ken Archer, Dwight Chesnut, John De Jong (LMC), Joanne Loyear , Chris Wiberg.

Media present:  Holly Hilbrands.

The purpose of this meeting was to further discuss the repair of the Dialysis Building.

Two bids were presented, after some discussion it was the consensus of the council that a more detailed bid was needed  from the one bidder.  Bidders also need to establish a time frame for the completion of the job.  There are also pre-existing conditions that need to be investigated. Chris Wyberg discussed the mold problem and the sealant on the basement walls along with the negative air issues. Chris feels that it will be approximately two weeks before reconstruction can begin.

The Emergency meeting has been reconvened until June 1, 2005 at 8:30 A.M. at the City Office.
