MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL
COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA
MONDAY, JULY 25, 2005 12:00 NOON
CITY OFFICE
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Upon due public notice, Mayor Dinnel
called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at
12:00 Noon. Roll call was taken with the following being present: Lenore
Sellin, Mike Dorry, Artie Arndt, Lisa Berkner, Mel Reinke with the
following absent: Dan Oakes. City staff present: Char Grossman, Tim
Scherer. Others present: Greg Vold. Media present: None.
The Rita Road project was discussed.
A motion was made by Dinnel and seconded by Dorry
and passed to advertise the Rita Road Project the first week in December
with bids to be opened in December, construction to begin the spring of
2006 with a completion date of August 15, 2006. Motion passed 4-2 –
Berkner, Reinke voted no.
The City Attorney reported that Otter
Tail Power Company has received the information regarding the foot of the
lake property. Their attorneys are reviewing and more information will
follow.
ADJOURNMENT:
Berkner moved for the adjournment
of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the July
25, 2005 meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 1:00 P.M.
