MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2006 6:00 P.M.

CITY OFFICE

 

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Upon due public notice, Mayor Johnson called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 6:00 P.M. Roll call was taken with the following being present:  Mike Dorry, Artie Arndt, Nick Anderson, Bob Meyer, Dan Oakes, John Cunningham with the following absent:  None.  City staff present: Char Grossman.   Others present:  Julie Fleming-Wolfe, Rick Ash, Jim Foster.  Media present:  Mike Swenson.

 

At 6:01 P.M. Mayor Johnson closed the public meeting and entered into executive session according to Minnesota Stature 13D.05 Subdivision 2b for consideration of allegations or charges against an individual or individuals subject to our authority.

 

The executive session was closed at 6:40

 

Mayor Johnson announced that having received information concerning the allegations from Attorney Julie Fleming-Wolfe a motion was made by Cunningham and seconded by Arndt and passed unanimously to accept the recommendation of the legal council on the threatened litigation.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

Dorry moved and Cunningham seconded and the motion passed unanimously for the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Johnson adjourned the February 6th special meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 6:41 P.M.
