MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL
COUNTY OF BIG STONE,STATE OF MINNESOTA
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2006 5:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Upon due public notice, Mayor Johnson
called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at
5:00 P.M. Roll call was taken with the following being present: Nick
Anderson, Artie Arndt, Robert Meyer and John Cunningham.
Members absent: Mike Dorry and Dan
Oakes.
City staff present: Judy Roberts.
Media present: None.
The purpose of the meeting was to set
a public hearing date for the consideration
of the adoption of the Enabling
Resolution for the creation of the Port Authority of Ortonville.
A motion was offered by Cunningham
and seconded by Anderson and did pass unanimously to set the public
hearing date for 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, the 23rd of February
2006 at the Matador Supper Club located at 778 US Highway 75 in
Ortonville, Minnesota.
ADJOURNMENT:
Meyer moved for the adjournment of the
meeting and with no objections thereto, Johnson
adjourned the February 10, 2006
meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 5:12 P.M.
