MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE , STATE OF MINNESOTA

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4, 2007 6:00 P.M.

CITY OFFICE

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Mayor Johnson called the reconvened April 2, 2007 regular meeting of the Ortonville City Council back into session at 6:00 P.M. Roll call was taken with the following being present: Nick Anderson, Artie Arndt, Mike Dorry, Bob Meyer, John Cunningham and Dan Oakes.

Absent: None

City Staff Present: Judy Roberts, Deb Hicks, Deb Ellingson and Nick Golden.

Media Present: None

Others Present: None

After some discussion on filling the position of City Clerk-Administrator , Johnson moved and Dorry seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 07-032

RESOLUTION OFFERING EMPLOYMENT PACKAGE TO CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR APPLICANT

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota, offer David Lang the following employment package:

Salary-Grade 10 Step 4 - $43,273.23

2 weeks of Vacation

1 day per month Sick Leave

Group Dental Insurance

Group Double Indemnity Term Life Insurance Policy

$468.00 payment toward Health Insurance

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Anderson, Dorry, Meyer, Cunningham , Johnson and the following voted nay: Oakes, Arndt.

Resolution 07-032 passed this 4^th day of April 2007.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Anderson moved and Dorry seconded and the motion passed unanimously for the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Johnson adjourned the April 4, 2007 meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 7:00 P.M.
