DISCUSSION: CONTRACT AMENDMENT-TODD VERHEUL

Airport Manager Todd Verheul asked the Council for an additional $2,000 to $4,000 per year ($20.00/Hr) in salary for added paperwork and administrative time required for administering the Airport Improvement Program. He is the Air Show Safety Officer and that position also takes a lot of time. He reported that airports are getting more and more complicated to operate.

Dr. Bryan Delage stated that the Ortonville Airport should have a larger Jet A fuel tank to service medical flights. The Ortonville Hospital is now rated a Level 4 trauma center and there should be a fueling site in the area to handle life flights. Verheul was asked to find out what other airports are charging agricultural aviation users.

ADJOURNMENT:

Pro Tem Mayor Cunningham adjourned the meeting by consensus at 6:50 P. M.
