Oakes moved and Sellin seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 02-009

RESOLUTION APPROVING BOOM TRUCK PURCHASE FUNDING

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota that the funding for the purchase of a 2002 40’ boom truck w/materials handling unit of up to $85,000 plus tax & delivery is approved as follows:

1. $50,000 from approved light fund capital outlay
2. $10,000 from unallocated light fund balances
3. $25,000 from unallocated water fund balances

and it is further resolved that the Clerk-Administrator is hereby directed to publish advertisement for bids for said boom truck  and further that said bids shall be opened and reviewed at the utility committee meeting at 6:00 p.m. on February 4^th.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Reinke, Berkner, Sellin, Arndt, and the following voted nay: none.

Resolution 02-009 passed this 22^nd day of January 2002.
