Berkner moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 02-013

RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR BOOM TRUCK

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Ortonville (“Council”) had previously advertised for bids to be received for a boom truck with materials handling capabilities (“Project”), and

WHEREAS, Project bids have now been received and reviewed by the Council, and

WHEREAS, bids were received for Project as follows:

Base Bid

Dueco, Inc.                                          $83,484.00

WHEREAS, the bid of Dueco, Inc., Watertown, South Dakota (“Deuco”) in the amount of $83,484.00 has been determined by the Council to be the lowest responsible bid for the Project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that:

1.    The bid of Dueco is hereby accepted.

2.      That the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be and are hereby authorized to execute necessary documents for said Project.

3.      Funds for said Project, including any necessary sales tax, shall come from budgeted capital outlay and previously allocated funds.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Reinke, Berkner, Sellin, Oakes, and the following voted nay: Dinnel, Arndt.

Resolution 02-013 passed this 4^th day of February 2002.
