Dinnel moved and Oakes seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 02-121

RESOLUTION AWARDING RADIOLOGY AND CT EQUIPMENT BIDS

WHEREAS, the Health Care Board of the City of Ortonville had previously advertised for bids to be received for radiology and CT equipment at the Ortonville Area Health Services, and

WHEREAS, bids have now been received and reviewed by the Board and the Board has made recommendation for the bid award, and

WHEREAS, bids received were reported as follows:  Radiology Equipment: Delta Medical - $91,425, Northern X-ray - $84,960 and CT Equipment:  Northern X-ray - $749,000, and

WHEREAS, the bids of Northern X-ray in the amount of $84,960 for radiology equipment and $749,000 for CT equipment has been determined by the Council to be the lowest responsible bids for Project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that:

1.      The bids of Northern X-ray are hereby accepted contingent upon obtaining                                                                  

acceptable financing.

2.            That the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be and are hereby authorized to 

execute necessary agreements with Northern X-ray.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Sellin, Reinke, Berkner, Arndt, Dinnel, Dorry and the following voted nay: none.

Resolution 02-121 passed this 2nd day of December 2002.
