Dinnel moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 02-032

RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMBERSHIP TO

SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA ARTS & HUMANITIES COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the efforts of the Southwest Minnesota Arts & Humanities Council (SMAHC) are deemed to be beneficial to all citizens of the City of Ortonville, and

WHEREAS, SMAHC has requested a $150 fee from the City of Ortonville for its membership in SMAHC.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota that a $150 membership contribution to SMAHC is hereby approved and further that said contribution shall be paid from “dues” of the Council’s budget.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Sellin, Arndt, Dinnel, Reinke, Berkner, Dorry, and the following voted nay: none.

Resolution 02-032 passed this 1^st day of April 2002.
