Dinnel moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION 02-036

RESOLUTION AWARDING QUOTE AND APPROVING

PURCHASE OF GOLF COURSE GREEN MOWER

WHEREAS, the Golf board (“Board”) of the Council of the City of Ortonville (“Council”) had previously solicited quotes for a Toro Greensmaster mower (“Equipment”), and

WHEREAS, Equipment quotes were received as follows: MTI Distributing $15,227; Doug’s Service $15,211, and

WHEREAS, Equipment quotes have now been reviewed by the Board and Council, and

WHEREAS, the quote of Doug’s Service, Canby, Minnesota (“Doug’s”) in the amount of $15,211.00 for has been determined by the Council to be the lowest responsible quote for the Equipment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that:

1.    The quote of Doug’s Service is hereby accepted with funds to come from Golf Course capital outlay funds.

2.      That the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be and are hereby authorized to execute necessary contract documents with Doug’s.

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Dinnel, Sellin, Arndt, Oakes, Berkner, Reinke, and the following voted nay: none.
