Oakes moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted:

 

RESOLUTION 02-047

RESOLUTION REESTABLISHING

UNCHANGED PRECINCT I AND POLLING PLACE

 

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota (City):

  1. Whereas the boundaries of Precinct I, which consists of the territory of that portion of the City of Ortonville which lying north and west of the line created by Madison Avenue until its intersection with Wood Street then to its intersection to Jefferson Avenue then to its intersection to Minnesota Street North to its intersection with the northerly boundary of the City of Ortonville, remain unchanged following state legislative redistricting, the City hereby reestablishes this precinct with those boundaries as required by Minnesota Statutes 204B.14, subdivision 3(c).
  2. Whereas the polling place for Precinct I remains at the Armory located at 315 Madison Avenue, the City hereby reestablishes this location as the designated polling place for this precinct in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 204B.16.

 

Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Sellin, Reinke, Berkner, Arndt, Oakes, Dorry, Dinnel, and the following voted nay: none.

 

Resolution 02-047 adopted this 6th day of May 2002.
