MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2002 12:00 NOON

COUNCIL CHAMBERS

Mayor Dinnel called the reconvened July 15, 2002 regular meeting of the Ortonville City Council back into session. Roll call was taken with the following being present: Lisa Berkner, Lenore Sellin, Dan Oakes, Mel Reinke, Mike Dorry, Artie Arndt with the following absent: None. City Staff Present: Char Grossman, Paul Tinklenberg, David McLaughlin.  Media present:  Sue Kaercher-Blake.   Others Present: Mel Ehlert.

After discussion, Dinnel moved and Berkner seconded that the following disciplinary action will be taken against Paul Tinklenberg:

1.      Written Reprimand to be drafted by City Attorney and approved by City Council

2.      Withhold cost-of-living paid increase for 2003 and 2004.

3.      Attend Management/Leadership Training 

Oakes, Dinnel, Dorry, Sellin, Berkner, Reinke voted in favor of the said motion, and Arndt voted against, the motion carried

 ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Arndt moved the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the July 15, 2002 regular meeting and the July 17, 2002 reconvened meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 12:55 p.m. on July 17, 2002.
