MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL
COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2001
SENIOR CENTER, 200 MONROE AVENUE

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Senior
Center in said City on the 19th day of December,
2001, at 5:31 o'clock P.M.
The following members were present: Dan Oakes, Mel Reinke, Mary Gustafson, Lisa
Berkner, David Dinnel, and the following were absent: Artie Arndt, Mike Dorry.

Mayor Dinnel explained the purpose of the special meeting and the general rules
which would be followed. At 5:35 Dinnel opened the hearing for citizens to voice
their disputes of the assessments which were
delivered to them. The following is a list of complaintants and their respective
complaints:

Property owners who had specific disputes were directed to a table with the
project engineers to discuss possible resolutions. At 7:45 councilmember Berkner
left the meeting. At 7:53 p.m. all had been heard
and the engineers made their recommendations to the Council. After all were
heard who wished to be heard, Dinnel closed the hearing at 7:55 p.m.

Gustafson moved and Reinke seconded that a resolution be adopted Adopting 1999
Improvement Project Assessment Role (RES 01-150). With Gustafson, Reinke, Dinnel,
Oakes voting in favor and with none
voting against, the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Council, Oakes moved to
adjourn and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the December 19th
special meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 8:01
