MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2002 5:00 PM

SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Upon due and proper public notice, Mayor Dinnel called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 5:07 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following being present: Lisa Berkner, Lenore Sellin, Dan Oakes, Mel Reinke, Mike Dorry, and with the following absent: Artie Arndt. City Staff Present: Charleen Grossman, David McLaughlin.  Media present: none. Others Present: none.

NEW BUSINESS:

Dinnel announced the purpose of the special meeting was to interview internal applicant for the Clerk-Administrator position.  Charleen Grossman was sole internal applicant.

After numerous questions from council members and responses from applicant, a resolution was offered by Oakes, and seconded by Dinnel, Hiring Charleen Grossman Clerk-Administrator (RES 02-064). With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Dinnel adjourned the June 12, 2002 meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 6:00 p.m.
