MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE ORTONVILLE CITY COUNCIL

COUNTY OF BIG STONE, STATE OF MINNESOTA

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2002 7:00 PM

COUNCIL CHAMBERS

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

Mayor Dinnel called the special meeting of the Ortonville City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. Roll call was taken with the following being present:  Lenore Sellin, Mike Dorry, Mel Reinke, Dan Oakes with the following absent:  Lisa Berkner, Artie Arndt. City Staff Present: Char Grossman.   Media Present: Dennis Justison.   Others Present:  None

Upon recommendation of the Budget Committee, Oakes moved and Reinke seconded that a resolution be adopted approving the 2002 Tax Levy, Collectible in 2003 (RES-02-091).  With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.

Upon recommendation of the Budget Committee, Reinke moved and Dorry seconded that a resolution be adopted approving the 2003 City Budget (RES-02-092).  With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council, Oakes moved the adjournment of the meeting and with no objections thereto, Dinnel adjourned the September 12, 2002 special meeting of the Ortonville City Council at 7:05 P.M.
