They have been
a very active group since their formation through funding by the Southwest
Initiative Foundation. Their website contains great information
covering daycare options in Ortonville, local functions for the kids and
families, and links to cover every early childhood question you may have!
The Early
Childhood Coalition has committed funding and also provided immeasurable
assistance with the Lakeside Park Project. This project will include
the first playground in Ortonville for children up to 5 years of age.
(Building will begin in the spring of 2009)
