Ortonville Housing Study – In order to identify the type of existing housing needs the Ortonville Housing Work Group should focus on will be determined by a housing study.  Ortonville has not had a housing study since 1995 and any funder considering a project will require evidence of that housing need in Ortonville with a housing study.  The housing study will identify the type of housing needed, homeownership, rental, etc. and size and affordability range.  Ortonville will submit to funding request to MHP for a capacity building grant.

Ortonville Housing Fair – Market and hold this informational “fair” with the Ortonville Sports & Leisure Fair 2nd week of March.  The purpose would be to promote existing housing programs and share information on resources available to homeowners and renters.

Single Family Development – The goal is to start the process for an affordable housing development project in 2008.  The project would be to develop additional affordable housing units and the population that it would serve would be identified in the housing study.
